Creative writing in class VI English. (Acrostic Poem)

Creating an Acrostic Poem using their names.

Creative writing means writing any articles bases on their experiences and and their interest. it can be something that is creative and can be read by anyone.

We write any articles to:

- remind ourselves.

- for fun.

- relieve our stress.

- cultivate the art of creativity.

- encourage our daily progress in writing.

- write something when bored.

- know ourselves and our lives better and

-keep our mind sharp.

With this basic knowledge introduced in the wechat group, I gave an example of how to create an Acrostic poem as given below.

1. WINTER.

Winter is cold.

It is windy.

Never hot.

There are children playing.

Especially freezing.

Really cold

2. Also I  created an example of an  Acrostic Poem on one of the name of a person.

eg; KUENLEK

Kind

Understanding

Energetic.

Neat

Lively

Excitable.

Keen

After giving this examples I asked them to create and acrostic poem using their names in the class Wechat forum.

some of the examples sent by them are as follows. I assessed  their work and gave them the feedback.

These are some of the few examples of class VI students who created an Acrostic poem using the class wechat as ICT integration in the class.

  15. You had taught your children a creative writing of an acrostic poem providing an example. You had instructed your children to write an acrostic poem using their name. It was evident that your children had learnt what you really want them to learn after seeing the children's post of work. Good job done 👍👍👍.
